Forklift Truck Medicals

Protect your business with forklift truck medicals. Detect health risks early, reduce accidents, and lower costs from sickness absence.
Forklift Truck Medicals
At Bespoke Wellbeing, we provide professional forklift truck medicals to help businesses ensure the safety and health of employees operating industrial vehicles. Regular medical assessments are essential to comply with UK law and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations, ensuring operators are fit to carry out their duties safely.
A forklift truck medical evaluates an employee’s physical and mental fitness to operate heavy machinery, including vision, hearing, cardiovascular health, mobility, and reaction times. Early detection of health issues reduces the risk of workplace accidents, protects employees, and minimises costly downtime for your business.
Why Forklift Truck Medicals Are Important
Employers have a legal duty to ensure that forklift truck operators are medically fit. Unfit operators increase the likelihood of accidents, injuries, and operational disruption. By conducting regular assessments, businesses can:
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and UK law.
Reduce workplace accidents and improve overall safety.
Minimise sickness absence and related costs.
Provide evidence of due diligence for insurance and regulatory requirements.
Bespoke Wellbeing’s Approach
Our qualified occupational health professionals deliver thorough forklift truck medicals tailored to the needs of your workforce. Each assessment is conducted efficiently, with clear guidance for employers on fitness to operate and any recommended adjustments.
