Musculoskeletal Treatment

Quick and easy access to injury assessment and treatment helps employees to feel better and get back to work quicker!

What are musculoskeletal disorders?

Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), sometimes called musculoskeletal injuries (MSK injuries), are injuries or health conditions which affect the bones, joints, and muscles of the body. They can cause symptoms such as pain, stiffness, tingling, and numbness.

MSDs can impact what activities an individual feels they can manage, making tasks at home and work more difficult. They are responsible for over 30% of all sickness absences in the UK, with 1 in 3 employees experiencing symptoms at any one time.

Musculoskeletal injuries that we treat include:

  • Low back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Aches and pains
  • Shoulder injuries
  • Knee injuries
  • Rehabilitation pre and post-surgery
  • Repetitive strain
  • Rehabilitation post-injury
  • Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
  • Sports injuries

How can we help?

MSK treatment services can help to restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness, or disability. We use a “toolbox” of treatment options which may include exercises, hands-on techniques, electrotherapy, and education to reduce symptoms, manage pain, and help them to return to their normal activities and goals.

Quick access to our services helps employees stay at work, or return to work quicker after injury. Companies who provide MSK treatment services to their employees gain a return on investment of between £3-£14 per £1 they spend.

We offer our services virtually, in person (either onsite at your workplace or within one of our treatment clinics), or in a hybrid model of both.
